Delete Your Yarnnect Account
This page belongs to Yarnnect — the Australian social connection and dating app. You can use this page to permanently delete your Yarnnect account and the personal data associated with it.
Delete via the Yarnnect app
If you still have access to the Yarnnect app on your device, this is the fastest way to delete your account. The deletion is processed immediately after you confirm.
Step 01
Open Yarnnect and go to your Profile
Tap the profile icon in the bottom navigation bar to open your profile.
Step 02
Open Settings
Tap the Settings option within your profile.
Step 03
Tap “Delete Account”
Scroll to find the Delete Account option and tap it.
Step 04
Follow the confirmation steps
Read the on-screen prompts and confirm that you want to permanently delete your account. Your account and personal data will be removed.
Request deletion via this page
If you can't access the app — for example, because you've already uninstalled it, lost access to your device, or can't log in — you can submit a deletion request here.
Enter the email address associated with your Yarnnect account below. We will contact you at that address to verify that you own the account before proceeding.
What happens after you request deletion?
We receive your request. Your deletion request is logged and sent to the Yarnnect team for review.
We verify your identity. We will contact you at the email address you provided to confirm you are the account owner before taking any action.
Your account is deleted. Once ownership is verified, your Yarnnect account and associated personal data will be permanently deleted.
Retained data. In limited circumstances, some information may be retained where required for legal, fraud-prevention, security, financial, or regulatory purposes. This is in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
